n celebration of its 20th anniversary, Zeta Gundam is being remastered and re-released as a series of three feature length films called Mobile Suit Gundam: A New Translation. Featuring updated animation and character designs, some surprising new scenes, and a hit theme song from J-pop superstar Gackt, this compilation trilogy has been long awaited by Gundam fans worldwide. The first film in the series, Heir to the Stars, was released May 2005 to great success. The second film was released on October 29th, 2005 in Japan, and is entitled Lovers.
It has been seven years since the end of the One Year War, but the seeds of war are still planted deep within mankind. The Earth Federation has grown corrupt, and has organized an elite fighting force called ""The Titans"" to quell any opposition. But the Titans' cruelty grows to rival that of the Principality of Zeon. A resistance movement called the Anti-Earth Union Group (or A.E.U.G.) is formed to oppose them.
